What Is Substance Abuse Treatment?
Substance Abuse Treatment is the most powerful and effective way to break out of the cycle of substance abuse or chemical dependency. Treatment is a place for healing, adapting healthier living patterns, and creating support.
During the treatment process, individuals will strive to overcome their physical and psychological addiction, as well as develop a healthy relapse prevention and aftercare plan.
Treatment typically lasts on average, 6-12 weeks, but this is determined on an individual basis. Successful completion of Treatment Goals is necessary for graduation.
Services Available
Individual Counseling: During regular sessions, the client meets one on one with a therapist to explore the issues in the client’s life that may have contributed to their substance abuse, and to begin to focus on solutions in order to move forward.
Group Counseling: Group consists of meeting with other individuals who are in the process of recovery. This is a great way to share stories, gain support, and break down the walls of isolation brought about by addiction.
Aftercare: After Treatment Graduation, clients may want regular sessions supporting their new sobriety.
Chemical Dependency Evaluations: This can help determine if you or someone you know has a problem with alcohol or drugs.
