I welcome you, and admire your courage.  I am passionate about helping people, and view therapy as a collaborative process, you and I working together to find resolutions.  As we talk, daunting issues can become manageable.

During my career, I have had the privilege of counseling individuals with varied backgrounds.  I have worked with at-risk kids, inmates in prison, people with addictions, men, women, and families. I have been practicing in the Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol counseling field for over 13 years and have a total of 18 years working in the Behavioral Health field.  I attended Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln receiving my bachelors in Psychology.  Shortly after graduation I moved to Omaha and continued my studies at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, receiving my masters of science in counseling.

As a practitioner, I strongly support the mind-body connection.  I believe that mental, emotional and physical health are interconnected, and in order to achieve healing and well-being, we must address all three.  I believe in our power to help ourselves heal and experience growth.  As we work together, we will use relaxation techniques, elements of yoga breathwork, meditation, and thought changing strategies to create healing.

I encourage you to contact me.  I will help you experience and express your emotions, encourage you to incorporate a healthy lifestyle, and break old thought and behavior patterns that no longer serve you.  I look forward to speaking soon.
